THE PHYSICAL EDITION OF THE LEGO MOVIE 2 VIDEOGAME for Nintendo Switch

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group today announced the physical launch of The LEGO® Movie 2 Videogame for Nintendo Switch™ system with a MSRP of $39.99. The game is inspired by the newly released sequel, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, a big-screen animated LEGO adventure from Warner Bros. Pictures.

Also announced were details about “Galactic Adventures,” the free post-launch bonus content coming to the game across all platforms in April. The downloadable content adds three new fantastical LEGO locations – Dis-Harmony City, The Queen’s Palace and The Rexcelsior.

TLM2 Video Game

In the game’s Dis-Harmony City, the Justice League is dispatched from Bricksburg to fend off the Alien invaders. When their ship is swiftly destroyed and scattered across the stars, it’s up to General Mayhem to track down the Justice League and persuade them to join her.

The Queens’s Palace location features General Mayhem in another wild adventure where she returns to find Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi in a panic because a matrimonial ceremony is not going as planned! General Mayhem must complete various wedding preparations and calm the Queen to get the ceremony back on track.

The Rexcelsior content will tell the story of how Rex Dangervest befriended his Raptor crew aboard his flagship. Rex needs to complete various tasks to train his Raptors in fun and unexpected fields such as skateboarding and spaceship repair. Rex needs to get his crew in ship-shape if he wants to meet Emmett!

The LEGO® Movie 2 Videogame is based on events that take place in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part as the story begins in the desolated wasteland of Apocalypseburg where alien invaders have left Bricksburg in ruins! Emmet, Lucy and his awesome crew of companions go beyond their world to save their friends from the strange inhabitants of the faraway Systar System.

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is also available for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One family of devices.

DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Available Now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam

Hard-Hitting Fighter Features Interactive Stages, Intense Training, and Robust Story Mode

Today, KOEI TECMO America and Team NINJA officially launched DEAD OR ALIVE 6, inviting players to once again step inside the world of DOATEC’s underground fighting scene to compete against some of the most brutal and beautiful fighters ever created.

Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aime to Retire: Doug Bowser Named New President

Transition will Occur in April

After more than 15 notable years at Nintendo of America, and nearly 13 as its President and COO, Reggie Fils-Aime will retire. His last day with Nintendo will be April 15. Doug Bowser, NOA’s current Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will then succeed Reggie as President of Nintendo of America.
 
“I really appreciate everything Reggie has done for Nintendo,” said Shuntaro Furukawa, President of Nintendo Co., Ltd. “Inside and outside our company, Reggie is known as an exceptional leader. We are grateful that he is leaving the business in good shape with strong momentum. While we will miss him and we wish him the very best in his retirement, we are also pleased to have such an able successor ready to step into that role. Doug Bowser and the rest of the team will ensure a seamless transition and continued momentum for Nintendo.”

Fils-Aime started at Nintendo of America in 2003 as its Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and became its President and COO in May 2006. His time with Nintendo began during the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance era. His leadership of Nintendo’s largest territory expanded the audience for Nintendo products as phenomena like Nintendogs, Brain Age, Wii Sports and Wii Fit brought millions of new players to the world of video games. Fils-Aime’s management led to record-breaking sales for products like the Nintendo DS, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch systems. At the same time, he communicated innovative new product features to a mass audience via his strong and affable personality, making him a favorite of media, members of the video game industry and Nintendo fans alike.
 
During his tenure, Nintendo of America has expanded its physical presence in the U.S., having established a key sales and marketing office in Redwood City, California, and built a new NOA headquarters in Redmond, Washington, that has received awards for its environmentally friendly design.
 
Doug Bowser is an industry veteran who joined NOA in May 2015 as the Vice President of Sales before being promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing the next year. During his time at NOA, Bowser led the sales and marketing efforts for Nintendo Switch, which became the fastest-selling video game system of this hardware generation through 21 months, according to The NPD Group. Previously, Bowser was an executive with industry powerhouse Electronic Arts, most recently as the company’s Vice President of Global Business Planning. He also worked at Procter & Gamble in various sales leadership roles in Asia, Latin America and the U.S.

A way up! – A New Platformer game

A way up! is going to hit Steam on March 8th. The game is being developed by a one man studio called BlueTreeGames. A way up! is a simple platformer about throwing a rock 
in order to help a meteorite return to space. It is an action platformer, difficult, sometimes frustrating but satisfying. It uses game physics as an simple but fun gameplay mechanic.
A way out is a story about a meteorite separated from his fellow space stones.
Can be painful, relaxing, annoying, satisfying.
Someone will say it is easy, someone else it is impossible.
Depends on you.
Play how you want – slowly, quickly, chaotically or strategically.
-Play as a meteorite to help it get back to space
-Venture vertiacally from magma caves through city up to high skies
-Simple, dynamic controls – hold a mouse button over a meteorite and throw it
-About 2 hours of gameplay depending (can take much longer)
-Intense, engaging sometimes frustrating, yet satisfying
-Try to get the best time.

The Pokémon Company International Launches Fully Redesigned Pokémon TV App

Fans Can Catch Full Seasons of Pokémon Animation for Free on Multiple Devices

The Pokémon Company International has released a completely redesigned Pokémon TV app with a brand-new user interface and range of features that make it even easier to enjoy animated Pokémon content. In celebration, the latest animated Pokémon film, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, is available to watch for a limited time on Pokémon TV.
 
Pokémon TV is a digital streaming platform dedicated to offering a library of episodes from the globally popular Pokémon the Series, in addition to occasional animated Pokémon movies. The updated version of this free app is available starting today on compatible iOS and Android mobile phones and tablets, allowing fans to conveniently access content anywhere from their favourite device. The update is also coming to Pokemon.com, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and select smart TVs in the future.
