Sony has sold over 100 million PlayStation 4 consoles worldwide 

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that they have sold, over one million PlayStation 4 units worldwide. This is a ground-breaking achievement from the video gaming company the PlayStation 4 is the latest home entertainment system part of the eight generation consoles. 

In Sony’s Q1 FY2019 consolidated financial results, it was recently revealed that 3.2 million PlayStation 4 units had been sold, which would bring the grand total of 96.8 million units back in April to 100 million as of the end of last month. The 3.2 million units sold is up from the 2.6 million units of last quarter (Q4 FY2018) and identical to the 3.2 million earned in the same quarter last year.


Also according to this tweet below my gaming industry analyst Daniel Ahmad, Sony Interactive Entertainment have shipped one hundred million PlayStation 4’s as of June 30th 2019 which is a total of 3.2 million consoles were shipped during April to June’s quarter, making PlayStation 4 the fastest selling home entertainment console, even faster than its predecessor PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo Wii, this is very impressive and a great accomplishment from PlayStation congratulations PlayStation.
