Ben Schwartz Will Voice Sonic In The Sonic The Hedgehog Movie

The upcoming Paramount Sonic the Hedgehog movie, has found its voice talent for Sonic the iconic blue, 90s hedgehog. It was confirmed today by Variety that actor Ben Schwartz, most known for Parks and Recreation, is currently voicing Dewey in the Ducktails reboot.

Alongside Ben Schwartz Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter and James Marsden will also star of the upcoming film, which will be released in November 2019. Jeff Fowler, who made the 2005 animated short Gopher Broke, is handling directing duties.

James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Jim Carrey will also star in this live-action computer graphic imagery hybrid, movie. Jeff Fowler also received an Oscar nomination for his 2005 animated short “Gopher Broke,” which will blend live-action and CG elements. Neal H. Moritz is producing with “Deadpool” director Tim Miller executive producing, along with Toby Ascher.

Paramount has givenSonic the Hedgehoga holiday-season release of November the 15th, 2019. This project is based on the Sega video game franchise, that has been in the works at Sony Pictures, but the studio let its film rights go to Paramount which they acquired in October 2017.

Sega launched the classic, iconic Sonic game in 1991 and has sold more than 360 million copies to date, including both packaged and digital games on consoles, tablets, and mobile, Sonic Mania Plus is
