In Ghana, every 1st July is a Republic Day to commemorate the establishment of Ghana as an independent republic in 1960. The President of 🇬🇭 @nakufoaddo has declared Monday, July 2, 2018 a statutory public holiday to mark the country’s 58 republic day. In view of the fact that this year’s republic day falls on weekend (Sunday, July 1) President Nana Akufo-Addo has pushed it to Monday, a statement from the Interior Ministry said . #Ghanapeople.
