John Boyega teased that a new Pacific Rim: Uprising movie trailer will be released. Guillermo Del Toro directed the first movie in 2013 introducing fans a new type of science fiction/fantasy film featuring a war between colossal size robots and colossal size alien monsters, the first film was filmed, recorded and developed overseas in Canada and Japan. Thanks to the international markets support this sequel is confirmed. This movie focuses on the science fiction/fantasy genre.
Pacific Rim Uprising will introduce new Jaegers and Kaiju with a new director and new main protagonist, this movies new protagonist will be Stacker Pentecosts (RIP to the character not the actor) (Idris Elba) son Jake Pentecost portrayed by John Boyega , who will have the leading role after his performance as Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
John Boyega will be joined by actor Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Rinko Kikuchi and many others. This movie will be directed by vision director Steven S. DeKnight, who is known for being the creator, head writer and executive producer of Starz which is an American premium cable service and satellite network service.
The first trailer released on the 6th of October 2017, and it received positive feedback, due to the fact it was showing people the preview of the theatrical scenes such as Jake Pentecost’s voice over of fighting to ensure the apocalypse doesn’t happen and the theatrical scenes of the Kaiju’s rising from the sea to establish war and carnage on the city against humanity. This movie will be released on March 23rd for the United Kingdom and the United States check here for other country’s here.
The plot of this movie is not just a war, but we have to wait until the second trailer is released to find out more details on the storyline, character development. This movie will be epic and will sell tickets I want this film to do well so it can continue potentially depending on the results.
