Netflix will be producing a Bright Movie sequel | [Major Movie News]

Netflix confirmed that the movie Bright starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton Bright the movie that was recently released on Netflix on the 22nd of December. The movie Bright received its fair share of negative reviews, but regardless it will be getting a sequel, check out the video below confirming the news, of the leaked Orc auditions. 



Netflix confirmed that it is expanding the Bright film franchise, although original writer Max Landis will not be involved with the project. David Ayer, who directed Bright, will pen the script. Ayer has some screenwriting experience under his belt, being credited as a writer on Fury, End of Watch and Training Day. Will Smith and Joel Edgerton, the two leading actors who played a pair of Los Angeles Police Department cops, will return, according to Netflix.

The Netflix movie Bright takes place in a fantastical version of Los Angeles where society is separated into three races: the elite Elves, middle-class humans and impoverished Orcs. Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton) is the first Orc police officer, who must overcome prejudice from both outside and inside the police force as he fights crime with his human partner, Daryl Ward (Will Smith).
