What’s going on readers, I hope you’re all well today We have now received figures for how Nintendo games sold across platforms in Japan during the immensely busy week before Christmas. Nintendo sold a staggering 1,475,081 video games on the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. This figure includes both first party and third-party video games in just one week, 750,728 units of Nintendo 3DS software, 713,053 pieces of Switch games and 11,300 copies of Wii U software.

If you want to know how Nintendo did against their main competitor Sony well now you can, Sony took an L all the combined sales from their PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita sales for the same week stand at 311,916. To break that down it’s 244,231, 3,938, and 63,747 for each platform respectively, Nintendo reign supreme.
