The leading, streaming website in the world known for showcasing competitive E-sports video games, real life live streams Twitch announced that they will be implementing a lot of new changes to their website. Twitch is now owned by Amazon. On August 25, 2014, it was announced that Amazon.com would acquire Twitch Interactive for US$970 million. The deal was expected to be finalized by the end of 2014, Twitch is now a subsidiary which is a company owned and controlled by another company, A subsidiary’s parent company may be the sole owner or one of several owners of the business which is very interesting.

Now starting December 15th, Twitch is going to stream The NBA G League games on their own Twitch page. There are going to be up to six games per week streamed on Twitch, and will also be available to watch on demand if you missed it. The NBA G League is the National Basketball Association’s official minor league basketball organization. Which is  available to watch everywhere this is exciting. Expect to see epic competitive games from teams such as: Canton Charge, South Bay Lakers, Austin Spurs and Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Select Twitch partners will also have the ability to co-stream the G League games and have access to special overlays that will make the interaction more fun. I can only hope that in the near future they will allow regular NBA games to be streamed. I would love to watch basketball games with viewers.
