What’s going on readers. I hope you’re doing great this Saturday night. Reports have surfaced that the Miles Morales Spider-Man animated film “In 2 Days,” Miller tweeted via a Spider-Man logo. Not just any logo though; the tweet’s image is the red and black of Miles Morales, voiced by Dope and The Get Down actor Shameik Moore. Liev Schreiber will voice the movie’s yet-to-be-announced villain. The animated film is likely to be a stand-alone, not tying into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (although Miles’s uncle appeared in Spider-Man Homecoming, as played by Donald Glover), the upcoming Sony Spider-verse films, or the upcoming Playstation game, which looks to include Miles as a major character.
Once the two days are over, we should see Sony’s movie panel at Comic Con Experience in Brazil. Hopefully get to see a brand new trailer and also learn more about this untitled Spider-Man project. “It’s not going to feel like every other Spider-Man movie you’ve seen,” Miller said last summer. “It will stand on its own as a unique film-going experience.”
Miles Morales was created in 2011 by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli as part of Marvel’s Ultimate line of comics. Miles assumed the identity of Spider-Man after the death of that universe’s Peter Parker. Following the end of Marvel’s Ultimate imprint in 2015, Miles was integrated into Marvel’s main universe and is currently a part of the Champions team lineup.
The film is will be released in December 14, 2018 for Theatres in North America.
