What’s going on readers I hope all is well, TV Tokyo and Crunchyroll’s official websites announced the Mob Psycho 100, Live-Action Drama Main Visual. This drama is scheduled for release in Japan for January 2018. This drama is based on ONE’s the mangaka’s (Notably known for One Punch Man) comedy manga Mob Psycho 100.

The main visual includes the three-main cast of Japanese actors which consist of: Tatsuomi Hamada (17) who is the protagonist, Shigeo Kageyama, Kazuki Namioka (39) as his master Arataka Reigen and Yuuki Yoda (17/Nogizaka46 member) as his childhood friend and love interest Takane. 

Hamada is best known as Riku Asakura/Ultraman Geed in the latest Ultraman TV series Ultraman Geed (2017-), Namioka played Shishimaru in Lion-Maru G (2006) and Sid/Kamen Rider Sigurd in Kamen Rider Gaim (2013-2014), and this is Yoda’s first acting role in a drama.

The mangaka ONE posted feedback on the live action drama based on his work he stated:  “I am so happy that it becomes a live-action drama! I am already so excited because I think we will be able to see a new Mob Psycho that is different from the manga or anime.”

The Mob Psycho 100 TV drama is the station’s fourth collaboration title with Netflix for its Thursday midnight block “Mokudora 25” that has been airing at 25:00 every Thursday. 47-year-old internationally acclaimed action/tokusatsu director Koichi Sakamoto (Power Rangers, Heisei Kamen Rider series, Hurricane Polymar) serves as director. It will start streaming on Netflix on January 12, 2018, then will be aired on TV Tokyo six days later.
