Golbez from Final Fantasy IV Confirmed for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT at Launch | [News]

Square Enix, recently released a new trailer. Announcing Golbez from Final Fantasy IV he will be included, in the upcoming Dissidia Final Fantasy original arcade version with an update this month. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is Final Fanatsy’s fighting new fighting game they are releasing in 2018. This character will be available at launch. DLCs will be available in order to play Cecil’s arch-rival, and he will also be part of the quite rich initial character roster.

This character’s archetype, is a super-villain. He specialises in using a dragon-like projectiles on his enemies he can also manipulate rocks, fire and other projectiles. This character has the ability to freeze enemies using his time manipulation powers and also special abilities that summon a shadow dragon to deliver devastating combo attacks. He is a badass check out the trailer if you don’t believe me. 

 

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will be released in Europe and North America on January 30th for the PlayStation 4 only.

  1. He looks fun to play with. His attacks will certainly do damage. I find it consuing that his name on the video says Golbeza. If it’s true that Cecil’s friend Kain will be a DLC, I can only assume that characters like best friends or rivals will be DLC. I can imagine Tifa from FFVII will be a DLC character.
