Square Enix has announced, that they will be hosting a cross over event for Final Fantasy 15 and Assassins Creed. This event is called Assassins Creed Festival and will take place in Lestallum the main fictional town where the first half of Final Fantasy XV takes place. This free DLC will start on August 31st till January 2018.

According to the official Final Fantasy XV Twitter this Assassins Festival will be a free event with mini games and Assassins Creed gameplay elements this could mean the iconic leap of faith when the main character in Assassins Creed does a suicide jump into a massive box with wheels with haystack inside ensuring the characters’ survival.

The trailer shows the four main characters: Noctis, Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus of Final Fantasy XV wearing Assassin Creed robes. and Cindy the mechanic seems to be involved the story seems to be about a friend being in harm’s way and also interrupting  a power plant and also a the four characters being some sort of Resistance who is opposing an unknown female antagonist.

This Assassins Creed Festival is an interesting collaboration between two publishers and developers I am looking forward to this since Final Fantasy XV was the first PS4 game I completed it was a great game you can read my review for it here, this new crossover looks epic and I’m glad Square Enix are adding free content and keeping this franchise alive.

  1. I saw this and I had to rewatch more than once. I don’t Assassin Creed as much but I was hyped to see Noctis in Altair’s outfit. I am looking forward to the new game mechanics. I think Square Enix should do more crossover collaborations like this.
