Sonic Mania for the PC and Steam will be delayed

Following the soundtracks and intro openings and video game play trailers of the upcoming Sonic video game Sonic Mania, the official Sonic the Hedgehog twitter has released a letter informing customers about the delay for the upcoming Sonic video game Sonic Mania.

According to this letter written by Aaron who is most likely an employee of SEGA, the customers who have pre-ordered the PC collectors’ edition and the steam version of Sonic Mania will be now instead will be receiving Sonic 1 and the people who have Sonic 1 will receive a giftable version of Sonic 1 that they will be able to give/ trade to their friend. On August the 15th 2017.

In my opinion this is SEGA/Sonic Team trying to polish the PC/Steam version of Sonic Mania and ensure it is of high quality and completely finished, so the developers need more time to make sure the game is not rushed and developed correctly without glitches and optimisation issues and other issues video games have.

Sonic Mania will now be releasing August 29th for PC and steam users
