Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray the leader of the Tekken project and the lead game designer for the Tekken project, announced that Geese Howard, an SNK fighting game character known for being in the SNK video games such as: Fatal Fury and King of Fighters. Will be the second DLC character for Tekken 7. Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the news in the form of a video that is linked below after the Tekken 7 EVO 2017 championship finals between.
In this trailer Geese Howard seems to be the problem solver, that Heihachi Mishima needs or he thinks he is anyway. He is seen talking with Heihachi about “Leaving the world to him” I’m assuming he means the Mishima Zaibatsu business. If you’re like me a novice fighting game fan than you might not be aware about who Geese Howard is allow me to explain. Like I mentioned earlier Geese Howard is a SNK fighting game character featured in King of Fighters and Fatal Fury video games.
In 1:42 Geese has a chicken (Tekken reversal) move when an opponent strikes Geese the player can block, this means Geese can do a Tekken chicken or reversal than he is able he perform a throw. Geese also has a Rage art which seems to be inspired by Akira Toriyama’s famous character Goku and his signature Kamamaha attack, notice at 2:21 he does this after Heihachi’s punch is blocked these are just two of the awesome features of this character.
Geese Howard will be available on the PlayStation store in Winter 2017
