What’s up readers today I wanted to write an article regarding My top 10 favourite water/ice fictional characters. Me being me I was a bit reluctant but I decided to just go for it. I don’t want to delve too much into different themes of people’s’ belief systems but since I was born in June I guess to a certain extent I am considered a Cancer Horoscope. I don’t believe in this but I like to have fun with this topic so I will.

I am a supporter and avid enthusiast, of animation, super hero entertainment and video games I think this is very obvious at the moment, at this juncture in time. Water is fascinating to me it’s in Africa and other parts of the world and I believe we as humans should not take it for granted in any way shape or form.

H2O water is a very good solvent and is rarely pure some of the properties of impure water can vary from those of pure substances. However I digress there are many compounds that are essentially, if not completely insoluble in water for example fats, oils and other non-polar substances.

Water is amazing to say the least, that being said enjoy this top 10 article.

  1. Toshiro Hitsuguya  – Ice (Bleach)

Toshiro’s most modern look he has grown up since Bleach the manga ended

Where do I begin, with this one, oh yeah I know…Bleach the anime/manga is well known. I was going to reduce my anime intake but this series in particular brought my interest back. The Japanese form of animation entertainment captured my interest in 2009 I was done with anime and manga but I felt kinda bored with normal entertainment so I went back and started watching it and reading the manga.

I remember while I was on the internet I came across a google video of the first Bleach anime opening, I was blown away. It was amazing to say the least the music, art and animation was ideal. Back in my younger days I never knew anime could be so badass. Ichigo Kurosaki was a oranged haired character and used his sword (Zanpakto) to fight monsters they referred to as Hollows with the assistance of Rukia Kuchiki that’s how he became a death god. (shinigami)

Uhhh I’m getting sidetracked, Toshiro is the main guy here, he used to be one the youngest captains in the soul society he’s extremely intelligent and has a mind of his own he is now an adult in the manga and has matured a lot throughout the series. His weapon of choice and special attack his Hyōrinmaru.

2. Ice-Man  – Ice  (Marvel Comics )

Iceman (Robert Louis “Bobby” Drake)

Marvel comics entertainment is always fun and exciting. I am still a massive fan of Marvel to be honest I watched Logan (2017), X-men, X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, Deadpool and X-men: Apocalypse and also X-Men animated shows in particular X-Men: Evolution which is undoubtably and arguably the best animated X-Men animated TV series. Don’t at me. LMFAO naah I’m joking.

Ice-Man also known as Bobby, has been portrayed by various actors. In my opinion the most notable actor is Shawn Ashmore he was my favourite because he was ideal for the role. I remember when he used one finger to freeze an overflowing fountain filled with water outside the X-Men mansion, while he was moving to Rogue in X-Men: The Last Stand. He has awesome powers of manipulating ice and can use his ice to travel great heights and defeat enemies.

3. Frozone   – Ice (The Incredible)

“Honey where is my,…super suit”

Frozone is a character that was featured in The incredibles animated superhero movie. Frozone also known as Lucius Best is a major character in 2004’s Disney/Pixar’s film he is best known as a close ally, of Mr Incredible and family friend. 5. Killer Frost (DC Comics) – Ice

Watching The Flash and also Young Justice season 1 and 2 opened my eyes and enlightened me on this particular character Killer Frost, she is a super villain from the DC Comics Universe, she is an enemy of The Flash yes the well-known speedster Barry Allen. I watched The Flash CW the TV series season 1, 2 and 3 (season 4 is coming out soon) Caitlyn Snow who was first a scientist who used to help Barry (The Flash) and was friends with Cisco Ramone (Vibe) was a casual acquaintance turned friend but because of the events from the three seasons over the years’ she now goes by the alliance Killer Frost.

Killer Frost participated in a super villain breakout at Belle Reve Penitentiary. Together with other ice based villains, she was supposed to weaken the walls of the Penitentiary, while super strong villains would smash the weakened walls down. She discovered that Miss Martian was disguised as Tuppence Terror when she used her telekinetic abilities to stop Killer Frost from killing the guard and froze her in an ice pillar. When Super Boy and Icicle Jr. broke through the wall into the female wing, Superboy subdued the female villains quickly after seeing M’gann’s state. Killer Frost remained in custody in Belle Reve. She can manipulate ice and water and off course frost and uses this to kill her enemies she’s a bad girl.

6. Omi  (Xiaolin Showdown)

Ayyyy my childhood, lol Xiaolin Showdown was one of my favourite animated shows that aired on Cartoon Network back in the day. Omi was portrayed by voice actor Tara Strong The Xiolin Dragon of Water Omi is the main protagonist of this series he was the first dragon in training to train with Master Fung. Omi can be seen as selfish and boastful and often learns how to humble himself from the other the other characters in this animated series, he was raised in a monastery he does not know much about the outside world

Omi’s signature moves are Tsunami Strike-Water, Tornado Strike-Water, and Wudai-Neptune Water. His Wudai Weapon is the Shimo Staff, and his elemental Shen Gong Wu is the Kaijin Charm. His preferred Shen Gong Wu is the Orb of Tornami (referred to as orb of torpedo in Chronicles) as it is a water Shen Gong Wu

7. Korra (Legend of Korra)

Korra was the title of the lead character in Nickelodeon’s animated television series. The Legend of Korra. She is the current Avatar and it is up to her to maintain peace and balance in the world. “No matter what happens, no matter how crazy things get, I’ll try to restore balance”. She said this regarding her job as an Avatar to Asami and Tenzin

Korra is the current incarnation of the Avatar and immediate successor of Avatar Aang. Born and raised in the Southern Water Tribe, where she mastered water bending, earth bending, and fire bending, she later relocated to Republic City to attain a similar proficiency with air bending under the tutelage and guidance of Tenzin as well as overcome her aversion to the spiritual aspects of the bending arts. With the assistance of Aang’s spirit, Korra gained the ability to energy bend, and after connecting with her past lives, she gained the capacity to enter the Avatar State at will, marking her transition into a fully realized Avatar.

However, due to her temporary separation from Raava during the Harmonic Convergence of 171 AG, she no longer has a connection to her past lives. After defeating Kuvira and bringing an end to the Earth Empire, Korra started a romantic relationship with Asami Sato.

8. Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat)

Sub Zero the iconic character from Mortal Kombat he is one of the original characters in the first Mortal Kombat game in 1992. A mainstay of the series, Sub-Zero is the only character who has appeared in every main Mortal Kombat fighting game. The character also appears in many other Mortal Kombat media works such as the Mortal Kombat live action film series and animated series.

The character is a formidable fighter possessing the innate ability to control ice in many forms. In his first return appearance in Mortal Kombat II, it was revealed that the original Sub-Zero had died during the events of the first game and was replaced by his brother. In the subsequent games, the younger brother of Sub-Zero, remained as Sub-Zero, while the elder brother became Noob Saibot. The most defining trait of the character is his fierce rivalry with his nemesis Scorpion.

9. Hydro-Man – Water (Marvel Comics)

Hydro man was a supervillain and enemy of Spider-Man he was introduced to me in the Amazing Spider-Man animated series that was

Morris “Morrie” Bench gained his superpowers while working as a crewman on the cargo ship the U.S.S. Bulldog, having been knocked overboard accidentally by Spider-Man (right after the hero finished a fight against Namor) while a powerful experimental generator is being tested in the ocean. The combination of unknown radiation and his immersion in a deep ocean dwelling bacteria turns him into Hydro-Man. When he realized that he had become a man-of-water, he blamed Spider-Man for his accident and started to hunt him (through many showers, sewers and water valves), in order to get revenge on the hero, but was defeated in combat.

Soon after that in the story arc “Eye of the Beholder”, he teams up with and briefly becomes merged with the Sandman into a composite mud monster called Mud-Thing. In this form, Hydro-Man and Sandman had limited intelligence and they did not have the ability to use their shape-shifting abilities as well as before. Although it was composed of the two aforementioned villains, it showed no indication of either villain’s persona outside of an infatuation with Sadie Frickett, the current love interest of both villains. Soon after, a theater agent named Travis Rave proposed that Sadie and Mud-Thing be in a show, which Sadie gladly accepted at the prospect of stardom.

Unfortunately, when the show proved to be a huge success, Sadie accidentally kissed Travis out of excitement, thereby enraging the jealous Mud-Thing. Mud-Thing ended up going on a rampage and carried Sadie with him to the top a sky-scraper. The creature was eventually defeated with a special gas that dried it out and caused it to crumble apart. Spider-Man managed to save Sadie from her plummet, but she ended up being genuinely upset over the loss of Mud-Thing, knowing that all it had ever done wrong was simply love her. After its defeat by Spider-Man and the police, Sandman and Hydro-Man separated from this form when the police were cleaning up Mud-Thing’s remains.

10. Tia Halibel  – Water (Bleach)

Tia Halibel is a character from Bleach who was an female espada and super villain who worked for Aizen Sosuke and was an enemy of Toshiro Hitsugaya. The remnants of her Hollow mask consist of the sides of her face, her mouth, and an extensive area below and around her neck extending down to, and also covering, her nipples. She usually hides these remnants from view with her jacket. Her Espada tattoo is placed on the left side of her right breast.

The location of her Hollow hole is in her lower abdomen where her womb would be. Her appearance before she became an Arrancar mostly resembled her released state, but most of her body and face was covered by white Hollow bones, and her weapon was part of her arm, but her hair and eyes were exposed.

She was one of the most attractive females in Bleach and gave Toshiro a hard time whe fighting her, she uses deadly water seals and if an Arrancar takes off 90% of their mask they become as powerful as a Captain in Bleach ??? but overall this character is seriously badass.
