Summer is a great time to enjoy a lot of things, gaming is defintely one of those things, especially during E3, one of the biggest Entertainment expos for video gaming entertainment where major companies in the video games industry showcase their latest projects, titles, IP’s and show trailers for their latest work for the public and off course their companies they work for.
Today I want to evaluate my top 10 video games from Nintendo during this year’s E3
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild expansion pack
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U, this Nintendo IP is part of The Legend of Zelda franchise and follows the protagonist Link who has awaken from his 100 year slumber to a mysterious voice that guides him to defeat an enemy called Calamity Ganon. Before he can destroy the kingdom of Hyrule. The mechanics and gameplay features the usual conventions and open world setting offering high-definition in terms of the visuals and detailed physics engine and off course the voice acting.
Release Date: March the 3rd 2017 IT’S OUT
2. Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario Odyssey is an upcoming Nintendo Switch game announced during E3 2017. This game is a 3D platform video game developed and published by Nintendo. This IP is one of Nintendo’s biggest IP’s and Super Mario is Nintendo’s mascot so this is a big deal this game is part of the main Super Mario franchise and returns predominantly to an open-ended exploration based gameplay seen in older IP’s for instance Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 64. Developed by Nintendo EPD, published by Nintendo, directed by Kenta Motokura and produced by Yoshiaki Koizumi this is a game not to be missed. This game will be single-player and multiplayer too.

3. Rocket League (Nintendo Switch)
Rocket League is a football and driving hybrid of a game. The vehicles are like dune buggies or Monster trucks that are used by players to face an opponent, the aim of the game is to get as many goals as possible and win the match. Rocket League as the name suggests is a high-octane reckless driving game featuring the world’s most popular sport football (Soccer for Americans) this hybrid game is for casual gamers and competitive gamers alike it is making its way to the Nintendo Switch.

4. Metroid Prime 4
Metroid Prime 4 is an action adventure with elements from Science fiction Nintendo Switch video game currently in development. This Nintendo IP was announced during the Nintendo spotlight during this year’s E3. The development for this game is being led by Kensuke Tanabe while the development team is all new. This IP’s story line will be associated with the previous events from the Metroid Prime Universe. No doubt Samus Aran will be involved

5. Yoshi for Nintendo Switch
Yoshi from Super Mario is finally getting his own game, this information was revealed during this year’s E3 the game is described as a cross between Yoshi’s Wooly World and Paper Mario which is cute and seems to be aimed at the younger generation of gamers that’s not to say older people can’t buy this game and enjoy it. This game is going to be a 3D side scrolling scroller with a lot of missions to complete such as collecting eggs, tossing eggs and platforming this game is called Yoshi and is coming out next year.

6. Pokemon RPG
Tsunakazu Ishihara The Pokemon Company had a very special video announcement. He discussed Pokken deluxe version of the game it will be available for E3 to play but most importantly Game Freak Inc a Japanese video game developer best known for Nintendo’s Pokemon have started working on a Pokemon role-playing game which is currently development.I’m expecting greatness from this new RPG Pokemon IP. I want to see iconic characters such as Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Pikatchu and an option to create your own Pokemon trainer. This is going to be on the Nintendo Switch.

7. Kirby for the Nintendo Switch
Kirby is a video game series developed by HAL Labortaory and Nintendo and produced by Nintendo, most of the Kirby games are action-platformers with a light puzzle solving elements. Kirby has the ability to devour its enemies and in-game objects. Kirby is known for being relatively simple for beginners, while offering a harder difficulty for more experienced gamers. Kirby games also contain artistic and bright settings that are cute, upbeat and cheerful for children and older people.

8. Xenoblade 2
Xenoblade 2 is Japanese role-playing game published by Nintendo and developed by Monolith Soft for the Nintendo Switch, this video game was announced during Nintendo Switch’s presentation earlier in January this year on the 12th. This game’s story focuses on Rex and his new friend Prya who are on a journey to seek out Elysium the ultimate paradise for humanity. This game sounds interesting and I would definitely pick this up it’s coming to Europe, North America and Japan.

9. ARMS (Nintendo Switch)
Arms is the latest and creative fighting game developed and published for Nintendo. This game is perfect for the family because it brings a fun and vibrant vibe to video games in particular fighting games. ARMS features characters who each have a unique abilities the most significant one is that for instance Twintelle has extended arms to hit her enemies. Twintelle is a playable character in ARMS she is a dark-skinned woman with white hair and pink highlights. In the game she is a movie star and uses ARMS in her hair to do battle.

10. Splatoon 2 (Nintendo Switch)
Splatoon 2 is an artistic, fun and entertaining game. Players can claim territory by covering it in ink on four vs four games’. The team that covers the most turf with ink wins. This game requires teamwork characters (Squid Sisters, Crusty Sean and Judd) use ink guns, the types of weapons include splat dualities, splat charger, splat roller, slother and heavy splatting. THIS GAME IS SO FUN.
