Bandai Namco has recently released their trailer for their up and coming remastered version of .hack//G.U. this instalment to the series is called Hack//G.U. Last Recode which is a single player action role-playing video game. This video game series was originally developed on the PlayStation 2 by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment off course. This is also the 15th anniversary so this title can be seen as a celebration in a way.
The original .hack//G.U. volume 1 rebirth role-playing game was originally on the PlayStation 2 in North America and Japan 11 years ago the previous titles where .hack//G.U. Volume 2: Reminisce shipped to North America in 2007 and Japan in 2006. .hack//G.U. volume 3: Redemption was shipped to North America in 2007 and also Japan in the same year.
This IP was also inspired by a manga series and light novel. There was also an anime film .hack//G.U Trilogy released by FUNimation and Bandai Entertainment on DVD in North America.
This video game franchise are part of a multimedia franchise called Project .hack which explores the mysterious origins of The World. Set after the events of the anime series .hack//Sign, the games focus on a player named Kite and his quest to discover why some users have become comatose as a result of playing The World.
The game will feature new elements that “make it feel like a new game.” The full-HD remaster will have high-definition movies, including all movies from the Terminal Disk that bundled with the special edition of .hack//G.U. Vol. 1: Rebirth. System improvements will include an added retry function, Cheat Mode, and re balanced avatar battles.
The release will increase movement speed, item slots, battle tempo, Skeith’s shooting speed, and other systems. In addition, “Haseo with an unfamiliar look” will appear.
